Bobcat Road is a 1.5-mile hiking route in Delta, Colorado, located within the Gunnison Gorge National Conservation Area. The trail is classified as difficult and typically takes about one hour to complete. It begins on a high ridge at the end of Bobcat Road and descends toward the Gunnison River. The elevation ranges from 4,959 feet to approximately 6,272 feet. Parking is available at the trailhead, which features picnic tables, shade shelters, and a restroom. The road surface is mostly hard-packed dirt with sections of exposed sandstone. A high-clearance vehicle is recommended for accessing the trailhead, though two-wheel drive vehicles have successfully navigated it. The trail is open year-round. Cell service can be limited at the trailhead. A fee of $3 per person is required, with payment slips displayed on vehicle dashboards and carried by hikers. The route allows hiking, biking, horses, motorcycles, ATVs, and OHVs. Bighorn sheep are occasionally spotted along the trail.
