Cedar Campground is a moderate-level camping area located within Rifle Gap State Park, situated on the north shore of the Rifle Gap Reservoir near Rifle, Colorado. The site sits at an elevation of 5,979 feet and operates seasonally from May through September. It contains a portion of the park's 89 total campsites, which accommodate tents, small trailers, and large motorhomes. The campground offers electrical hookups for RVs and is characterized by wide-open, level sites with views of the reservoir and surrounding mountains. Amenities include flush toilets, coin-operated showers, water hydrants, picnic tables, and fire rings. Leashed pets are permitted, with a maximum stay of 14 days per site for up to six people. A reservation is required, and parking is available on designated roadways without encroaching on vegetation.
