About
The Cedaredge Rod And Gun Club is a members-only private shooting facility located 1.5 miles northwest of Cedaredge, Colorado, at an elevation of 6,251 feet. The facility is gated and open year-round from 7:30 AM until dusk. It offers moderate difficulty shooting opportunities for rifle, pistol, shotgun, and archery enthusiasts. The range features specific areas including a rifle section with six covered benches for distances between 25 and 200 yards, a pistol range with six positions for 3 to 25 yards, a dedicated trap shooting area, and an archery backstop. All firearm target areas are designated with rubber mats. Paper targets are available for purchase at two self-serve boxes, though shooters must bring their own staplers or thumbtacks for rifle and pistol use. Shotgun shooters are required to bring their own clays. The club hosts educational groups like A Girl and A Gun, as well as weekly events and fundraising trap and rifle shoots. Parking is available on-site, and pets are permitted. Visitors typically spend about 2 hours at the facility.
