Mystery Ditch is a 0.7-mile mountain biking trail located near Delta, Colorado, within the Gunnison Gorge National Conservation and Wilderness Area. The route offers a moderate difficulty level with an elevation ranging from approximately 4,957 to 6,188 feet. Riders access the trail from Chukar Road or Elephant Skin Road, often using it as a side connection to the Moon Light Mesa trail. The path begins on a ridge, drops into a shallow arroyo with high-banked corners and occasional jumps, and remains in the wash for about half a mile before rejoining the ridge. The trail is accessible from April through October and allows pets. Parking is available near the trailhead, with no fee required. The typical ride duration is short, often under 15 minutes one way, making it a quick addition to longer rides in the Delta area.
